The Organisation
Inner South Community Health is a major provider of health and community services with a broad range of clinical and social services.
The oral health program offers vital services to marginalised and hard to reach community members including children, pregnant women, asylum seekers and refugees, homeless, people with mental health conditions, chronic disease and Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders. There are 8 dental clinics and an outreach team based out of South Melbourne and Prahran.
The Role
The Community Health Practice Manager will provide operational management of the services and the teams of dentists, assistants, therapists and administration staff including:
• Recruitment, orientation and training
• Development and review of team and individual performance
• Financial management including budgets
• Managing stock and consumables
• Providing occupational health and safety reviews
Skills Required
This position would suit an experienced practice manager or operations manager in a medium sized complex community health service. You will be able to supervise a wide range of team members alongside operational management.
Sound demonstrable knowledge of public health services, including oral health, are essential parallel to managing complex clinical sites with a multi-disciplinary workforce.
