An exciting opportunity exists to join Australia’s leading international volunteer agency – a valuable contributor to the sustainable development of a wide range of international communities. We are currently looking for a Finance & Payroll Officer to join our busy Finance Team based at our Melbourne office in a full-time capacity until 31st December 2017.
Reporting into the Financial Accountant, the Finance & Payroll Officer role will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all accounts payable and receivable transactions and payment of employee payroll.
We look forward to receiving applications from candidates with:
•Substantial payroll experience including understanding of salary packaging and superannuation processing
•Sound understanding of basic accounting concepts and bookkeeping principles
•Experience in processing accounts payable and account receivable transactions
•Strong administrative skills, particularly with office systems, including a high level of competency in word processing, spreadsheets and database software
