Take the leadership role of one of this country’s most relevant and progressive NFP peak bodies, providing vital information, advice, support, networks, professional development and advocacy for its thousands of members. Family businesses, which constitute a significant sector of the economy, underpin much of the nation’s employment, community and way of life.

Reporting to a governance Board you will provide effective leadership to implement the national strategic plan and be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations supported by a small, competent team. You will maintain and develop quality resources and services for members, be the official spokesperson for FBA, and build regular liaison with government and other regulatory bodies.

For this pivotal appointment you should be a proven CEO with experience in governance, and have demonstrated expertise in leading a comparable organisation or membership body. Most importantly, you must be a skilled communicator and networker who can develop mutually beneficial relationships with a diverse stakeholder base.
