Lead one of Australia’s most highly regarded professional bodies and play a key role in the future of dental professions. Responsible for accreditation of dental educational programs in Australia, the Australian Dental Council also assesses internationally qualified dentists, dental hygienists, dental therapists, oral health therapists and prosthetists.
Taking over from retiring CEO, Ms Lyn LeBlanc, you will work with the President and a national Board to develop the role of the ADC in the health system and have regular interaction with key stakeholders throughout Australia. Managing the ADC office in the Melbourne CBD, your responsibilities include business planning, budgeting & finance, human resources, preparation of submissions, policies & reports, and overseeing committees.
In addition to understanding the national dental or health environment, applicants must have experience in corporate governance, business management, and the ability to represent the ADC at a national level. Management qualifications are desirable, and experience at CEO level will be highly regarded.
