The YMCA has a long and proud history. A well known brand, it engages with the community across Australia through its wide offering of services including children’s services, recreation, camping, youth services and community initiatives, events, training and accommodation. Like all organisations it refreshes and revitalizes itself from time to time and YMCA Australia currently presents an exciting opportunity to do just that.

The National CEO is responsible for providing strategic and organizational leadership within a federated structure. The CEO will lead, support and facilitate collaboration across the federation and coordinate the YMCA’s brand and identity to ensure long term social sustainability, and commercial viability. The CEO will work with the Y’s across Australia and external stakeholders, articulating the future vision, influencing outcomes, keeping the Y relevant to the fast, dynamic pace of the 21st century and capitalizing on the Y’s appetite for change.

To be considered you will have CEO or comparable experience in a complex structure with an ability to achieve results by leading through influence and negotiation. Proven success in stakeholder engagement, change management and sound commercial acumen are essential. Relevant tertiary qualifications are required. Your genuine enthusiasm and commitment to the mission, vision and values of the YMCA will underpin all activities.
