Our client is a Sydney based community housing provider employing over 35 staff and managing more than 1,300 homes. Their vision is ‘A better future for those in need through safe affordable housing’.

Due to an internal promotion, the GM Housing and Community is now vacant. The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer and is an integral member of the senior management team and responsible for the following functions and teams:
- Tenancy Management
- Applications and Allocations
- Community engagement and sustainable community
- Affordable Housing leasing (Licensed Real Estate)
- Private Rental (Leasehold) acquisition
- Income and rent review
The GM is responsible for the delivery of the programs and strategies relevant to Housing and Community.
You must be able to demonstrate experience and ability to lead a diverse group of employees through change and growth as well as a commitment to continuous quality and performance improvement through people, process and systems.

- Leading, coaching and developing a diverse team

- Managing quality and compliance obligations including any reporting
- Driving best practice customer service practices and community engagement programs
- Meeting financial KPI’s and revenue targets and identifying opportunities to expand housing services and the housing portfolio.
Desirably you will have:
- A relevant degree in business administration or social services and real estate
- Experience leading housing and community operations in a similar environment
