As a registered provider of supports with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Castle Personnel Services Ltd is a leading Not for Profit organisation delivering services to people with a disability. Celebrating 25 years in business Castle has consistently changed the lives of participants and their families by providing person centred support, community involvement, social inclusion and independence.

What we do/the role

Castle’s CommunityProgram provides eligible young adults with a disability the opportunity for life skill development through person centred support to enable them to increase their independence, achieve their life goals and actively participate in their community.

We are now looking to employ an appropriately qualified person to lead our team. Based out of Community Central, the position will manage the efficient daily operation of the Community Programs business for existing and potential participants who identify Castle NDIS Services as their preferred provider of supports.

The Program Manager will continually review the delivery frameworks for transport and travel, Group support and activities to ensure Castle’s NDIS service model remains sustainable.

The successful candidate should be able to validate experience against the following criteria:

  • Relevant qualifications in disability services, mental health or related field is essential
  • A minimum of five years experience in working with people with a disability, youth, or mental health service
  • Proven experience in managing a large, casualised workforce
  • Knowledge of NDIS guidelines, pricing and support clusters
  • Extensive experience in implementing systems and processes around rostering
  • Capacity to implement change
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office in particular Excel is essential
  • Proactive expectation around setting standards regarding documentation and administrative requirements, workplace culture, risk management and quality
  • Current NSW Class C Drivers licence
