The Organisation

eviDent is an exciting initiative of Australian Dental Association Victoria and the Oral Health CRC. Through the formation of a dental practice based research network, they are facilitating relationships between practitioners and academic researchers. By creating this link, eviDent is providing a new level of innovation where evidence can translate quickly into practice and directly inform policy.

Already eviDent is making substantial impact in this area and has demonstrated a strong commitment to addressing issues of importance in the industry.

The Role

This is a critical position for eviDent and will play a key part in ensuring its ongoing sustainability. Reporting to the CEO you will:

• Provide insight into the organisation’s fundraising potential, developing and implementing a strategy
• Advise and guide the Board on fundraising priorities, income targets, investment and income requirements
• Identify initial fundraising opportunities, identifying and developing relationships with prospects
• Encourage industry support; educate and inspire stakeholders around eviDent’s projects and potential impact
• Collaborate with the communications team to provide effective fundraising content and collateral
• Provide oversight and strategy around grant applications
• Innovate processes including developing a donor database
• Propose budgets for fundraising initiatives and events

Skills Required

This role would be suited to a senior fundraiser with broad fundraising skills looking for a flexible, part-time arrangement. You will be:

• Insightful and strategic with the ability to implement
• Influential, able to advise and inspire both internally and externally
• A strong relationship manager, including managing corporates
• Experienced initiating a database, preferably using Salesforce
• Analytical but with a creative approach to fundraising
• Accountable, focused on short and long term outcomes
