About the role
As Fundraising Support Officer your primary responsibility will be to provide high quality customer service and management of the supporter database, Raiser’s Edge. The incumbent will maintain a clean database, regularly generate reports and provide data segmentation and analysis. You will ensure donations are appropriately managed and acknowledged, produce financial statements and raise purchase orders

Reporting to the Community Fundraising Coordinator, you will work closely with the Fundraising Department and will have responsibility for the database and all data capture. We are seeking someone with previous experience within the not for profit sector, who can provide first class support to the fundraising team.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure all donors have a positive and welcoming experience
• Manage and maintain the integrity of database to ensure productivity of service
• Manage and monitor the input of donor information into Raiser’s Edge
• Act as a “super user” and manage the supporter database, ensuring accurate and compliant recording of donor details
• Train peers in the effective use of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge
• In collaboration with Community Fundraising Coordinator, ensure processes are in place to notify the fundraising staff of major donor activities, donations, bequest opportunities & community fundraising opportunities
• Review processes, workflows and procedures to ensure systems are clear and consistent
• Manage the processing of donations effectively and efficiently
• Work with the Finance Department in preparation of quarterly statements and other significant reports ensuring optimal performance

Selection Criteria:
• Sound knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or similar
• Previous experience working for a not for profit, charity or within the fundraising sector
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a high performing team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities
• Intermediate to Advanced computer skills
