About the role

Whitelion is a leading national not for profit charity which is achieving wide recognition for improving the social and economic capabilities of Australia’s most high risk young people needing support with;
• Homelessness and poverty
• Child abuse and neglect (identified by Child Protection services)
• Offending behaviours (which link them to the Juvenile Justice system)
Whitelion is seeking a part time enthusiastic Grants Leader who will hold responsibility for:
• Grant writing
• Acquittals/reporting
• Providing support for the development of grant submissions nationally
• Researching available grants
• Updating Grants Calendar
• Maintain relationships with philanthropic and government funders
• Meetings with stakeholders and potential funders
This position will oversee a diverse range of contracts and program reports for a broad range of funders which include government, trusts and PAFs.
The successful candidate will have experience in meeting contractual compliance requirements for programs, as well as the capability to work collaboratively with staff to ensure high quality reporting and records management using our centralised CRM database.
This role will bring your strong writing, organisational skills and passion for detail to the fore. It will suit a professional who has experience with tender/grant applications and/or high-level program report writing. You will thrive in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and rise to the challenge of working in a fast-pace environment to meet strict deadlines. The role requires advanced software competencies and ideally, an understanding of budgets and financial reporting. Experience in the non-profit or youth sectors will be favourably regarded.
Salary is $70,000 p.a. pro rata plus superannuation of 9.5% and 17.5% leave loading. Salary packaging is available.
