The Macquarie University Office of Advancement oversees the University’s fundraising and alumni engagement efforts. The Office of Advancement is entering an exciting growth phase, which will build the University’s advancement capacity and position the University to embark on a multi-year comprehensive fundraising campaign.

The Role

Use your online fundraising experience in this newly created role! Join our individual giving team in this online fundraising focused position. Working closely in a small team of 6, contribute your online expertise to implement best practice online and digital fundraising programs and appeals.

You will be responsible for developing and managing the online presence for the University’s fundraising appeals and campaigns. You will create a suite of electronic resources and tools for online fundraising, identify potential program expansions and analyse date to inform future activities.

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for the position, you must submit a cover letter (no more than 3 pages) which addresses the criteria below and upload this and your CV as part of the application process:

  • Demonstrated previous experience in fundraising, marketing and/or relationship management roles
  • Demonstrated skill and experience developing and managing web based fundraising portals
  • Strong track record building and managing relationships with key stakeholders from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing delivering online and digital fundraising appeals.
  • Knowledge of Constituent Engagement Management Systems (such as imodules)

Salary Package: HEW 7 from $85,145 to $92,315 plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.
