Manager, Community Programs

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled person to manage a small community programs team to design, implement and evaluate city-wide programs that are evidence based, result from internal and external partnerships, and which will give effect to the City’s strategic directions.

A qualification in a relevant social services discipline or extensive work experience in the social or community services field, together with understanding of the principles of community development, the design and delivery of community programs, and demonstrated experience in community programming and engagement processes are essential. The candidate should have experience in leading and managing staff in a high volume and complex environment and proven ability to balance competing priorities in order to meet deadlines.
