About the role

We are seeking to appoint an experienced social worker, psychologist or occupational therapist to join our growing team in the Northern Territory. This role works in both Darwin and Katherine areas involving regular travel.

You will assume a clinical leadership role and be responsible for developing therapeutic interventions within both the residential care and community context for traumatised children and young people. You will work closely with carers, youth support workers and others providing clinical consultation and supporting the implementation of a therapeutic care environment and therapeutic plans for children and young people. Some direct counselling with the children and young people will also be involved. There are also opportunities to be involved in research, training and advocacy initiatives.

If you have experience in working with leading or working within child protection, out of home care, mental health or education settings and want to become part of a dynamic team we would like to hear from you.
