Take the key leadership role of one of Victoria’s best regarded, independent agencies in the aged care sector when the well respected CEO, Mary Lyttle, steps down after 27 years of successful achievement. Elder Rights Advocacy (ERA) remains at the forefront in the sector and is part of the National Aged Care Advocacy Program (NACAP).
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is the key management leader of ERA and is responsible for the day to day operations of a small but influential organisation that punches well above its weight. Managing a small, experienced team this is an opportunity to develop the organisation to the next level, with the financial support of recently granted government funding. Key areas of responsibility include Governance & Strategy, developing a new and relevant Vision and Financial Performance.
For this key role you will need proven experience of reporting to a Board and leading a human service organisation with extensive community links, awareness of the major issues affecting older people and their families and extensive knowledge of advocacy and older people’s rights. Sound knowledge of organisational, financial and administrative processes is essential.
