About the organisation
VCOSS is the peak body of the community sector in Victoria. It raises awareness of the existence, causes and effects of poverty and disadvantage. VCOSS is a unique membership based organisation with a rich history in social justice advocacy in Victoria.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the coalface of community sector relationships with the Victorian Government and to support the development of the community services industry, the fastest growing industry in Victoria.
The Project Coordinator – Sector Development will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the 10 year Community Services Industry Plan and a range of other high level government and sector committees. The role will require excellent stakeholder relationship and interpersonal skills.
This will include supporting VCOSS members, peak bodies and government to work together in partnership to ensure a vibrant and sustainable community sector. The Project Coordinator will consult with the sector and peak bodies and develop a range of reports and written resources.
