Corporate Partnerships – Business Development Rese

The Corporate & Community Partnerships Team is responsible for supporting an integrated approach to public engagement by providing a cross agency offering of profitable Corporate & Community Partnerships.The volunteer will provide support to the corporate partnerships team with research for prospect donors and assistance with compilation of ethical screen as part of Oxfam Australia’s due diligence process.

Start date: ASAP
End date: Minimum 6 month commitment with possibility to extend
Time required: 1 day per week (preferably Thursdays).

KEY TASKS:

* Processing of ethical screens, research and complete ethical screen form, forward to corporate partnership coordinator for checking.
* Conducting research to create corporate prospect profiles to assist with prospect approach.
* General support for corporate partnerships team prospecting approach.
* Maintenance of RE notes from corporate partnership coordinator meeting as required.
* Research assistance with prospects and proposals, as per corporate partnership direction.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

* Database skills and competence (familiar with and/or ability the ability to learn to use SAP and Raiser’s Edge)
* Experience with Microsoft Excel (desirable)
* Good communication skills, reliability and interest in Oxfam Australia and our work
* Good research skills, knowledge of collection of data from internet and corporate documentation
* Commitment to the role and to Oxfam Australia’s values

TRAINING/SUPERVISION PROVIDED:

* Day-to-day support in the role provided by the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator
* Regular support and guidance from the OAus Customer Services
* Weekly 121 to ensure deadlines are met and required resources are available.
* Introduction to Oxfam via the Volunteer Induction process
