About the role
Seek opportunities for the Australian Jazz Museum to partner with jazz festivals in order to spread our message and recruit members
Responsibilities:
Ensure appropriate agreements are set up with festival management, covering marketing communications content and media
Define our communications approach and physical presence appropriate to each festival
Recruit teams of volunteers to staff booths, and engage with the public and musicians
Be willing to attend festivals at personal expense, including overnight accommodation as
necessary
Maintain relationships with festival management
Establish festivals database and set up associated records
Reports to:
Membership Manager
Requirements:
Love of jazz
Experience in organising events
Desire to work as part of a team, while providing leadership
Flexibility to be involved with events spanning 2-5 days
Willing to become a member of the Museum (Annual Cost $50)
