About the role
The Volunteer Engagement Partner is responsible for the end-to-end development and delivery of a best-practice Volunteer Program across Victoria.
A key part of the role is ensuring the growth of a vibrant and diverse membership of committed and engaged volunteers whose contribution to CatholicCare Victoria’s mission and services enhances the positive profile of CatholicCare Victoria.
Specifically, the position is responsible for:
- Contribute to the development and ongoing review of the Volunteer Program, by regularly reviewing and developing the Volunteer Program Policy, Systems, Procedures, Forms and Resources
- Working with internal stakeholders to identify volunteer requirements; attract and recruit suitable volunteers, including advertising, interviewing, screening and selection.
- Developing and delivering engagement strategy that promotes CatholicCare Victoria’s Volunteer program and implementation of the volunteer induction.
To be considered for this position, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Human Resources or related field
- Relevant professional experience in the development and delivery of a volunteer program, or experience in a Human Resources role, including recruitment, on-boarding, and supervision
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current best practice volunteer strategy and theory
