Our Mission / Objective
The Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate (ANZUP) Cancer Trials Group is a cancer co-operative trials group conducting clinical trials research to improve treatment of bladder, kidney, testicular, penile and prostate cancers.
ANZUP brings together a leading multi-disciplinary network of oncology, surgical, medical, radiation, nursing, psychology and allied health professionals from within the urogenital cancer field to conduct vital research through clinical trials. ANZUP’s clinical members are committed to improving outcomes for those affected by these ‘below the belt’ cancers.
Our Services
ANZUP provides a number of services:
- conducts cancer research, through from early concepts to full clinical trials
- provides professional membership for anyone working in the field of cancer care or cancer research in a professional capacity
- provides community membership and information for cancer patients, carers, friends and community members
- runs fundraising events to raise money for clinical trials and research

ANZUP’s mission is to conduct clinical trials research to improve treatments of bladder, kidney, testicular, penile and prostate cancers. It is through your donations that, together, we will achieve our mission.
ANZUP is registered on the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Register and the Charities Services Register in New Zealand. As a registered charity we have obtained Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status in all states and territories in Australia and donee status in New Zealand. This means donors can claim income tax deductions for gifts to ANZUP (of $2 or more in Australia and $5 or more in New Zealand) in their income tax returns.
