How to help us

Wills and Bequests

Change the future, today.

Leaving a Gift in your Will is the ultimate way to care for your family and loved ones. It can also be transformative for those served by organisations like Baptist Care SA. In making these gifts, you are expressing enduring care and commitment.

Every week, hundreds of children, families and individuals reach out to us for support.

Your gift will support the ongoing provision of

  • a safe, caring place to live for children unable to stay with their families
  • education and employment opportunities for young people who would otherwise find it very hard to get a job and gain vital living skills
  • a warm welcome and access to vital services for those experiencing homelessness and disadvantage
  • therapeutic services to empower individuals and families to overcome adversity and embrace opportunity
  • early intervention initiatives designed to break the cycle and give struggling South Australians their future back.\

General Donations

Together we offer a special sort of community

Being homeless is frightening and humiliating.  Things like finding a safe place to spend the night, getting something to eat, having a shower and washing your clothes take on huge proportions.  Simply surviving day to day is a real struggle.

The dedication of caring and generous donors makes it possible to share a special sort of community at Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre.

Friendship Program

Our Friendship Program gives you the opportunity to extend a warm, friendly welcome to someone from a refugee or asylum seeker background who is settling in Adelaide.  Just six hours per month can make a huge difference in their lives and enrich your own.

Work with us

At Baptist Care SA Serving to Transform Lives is not just a nice sounding motto but at the heart of who we are and what we do. Together we transform lives by building capacity of individuals, families and communities; so that each person reaches their full potential through achieving their own goals.

At Baptist Care SA we are strongly committed to the safety and wellbeing of children, vulnerable young people and adults in our care. Our services promote the recovery, resiliency and self-determination of the people we serve. Compassion, integrity, innovation and empowerment underpin the way we serve our clients.

What we do is not unique but the way we do it is.

Volunteer with us

“What I’ve learnt from being a mentor in the Baptist Care SA Friendship Program, is that mentors gain just as much as the refugees in the program. I’d really encourage others to be involved because it’s very rewarding and it’s a good way to contribute to making somebody feel welcome and comfortable in Australia.”
