Our Mission / Objective

Providing A Pathway Home.

Housing is such an integral part of people’s well-being and peace of mind. The process of finding and keeping a property can be stressful and overwhelming. We believe that by making housing affordable and accessible we can significantly improve the quality of life of every person that comes through our doors.

Our vision is to be the leader in providing positive solutions for people where they can connect with the community, realise opportunities, and achieve the life they have imagined.

25 YEARS SUPPORTING TOWNSVILLE

We’re a not for profit organisation based in Townsville, with a team of people who want to make housing easier and more affordable. We have been in operation since 1991 under the name “Community Rent Scheme”. In 2011, we changed our name to the Coast to Country Housing Company (C2C)  to better reflect our journey. From managing 68 properties to approximately 400 managed today, we go to work every day with the simple goal of providing a pathway home for Townsville’s most vulnerable residents.
