Our Mission / Objective

Our Vision: No one suffers from IBD.

Our Purpose: To drive quality of care for our community by educating, supporting, increasing awareness, advocating and research.

For more than 30 years, Crohn’s & Colitis Australia (formerly the Australian Crohn’s and Colitis Association) has been making life more liveable for over 85,000 Australian men, women and children living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Our Services

Crohn’s & Colitis Australia’s primary purpose is to provide support services, advice and encouragement to people suffering from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Whilst CCA doesn’t cure the illness it can remove some of the burden for people living with IBD and their families.

Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, the predominate IBDs, can be diagnosed at any age, though it is most commonly diagnosed in people aged between 15-35 years when education, career and family building are at a peak.

Our Beneficiaries

While we invest in research for a cure, CCA continues to advocate for world best treatments and health services for those living with IBD. Through our programs we offer education and support for Australia’s growing Crohn’s and colitis community and raise awareness of the disease. Importantly, our services are offered free of charge.

We rely on the generosity of volunteers, donors and community fundraising to continue our work.

How to help us

Wills and Bequests

Of all the decisions we make in our lifetime, writing your Will is amongst the most important. Leaving a gift in your will to Crohn’s & Colitis Australia will help us make a positive difference to people with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, their family, friends and carers. If you would like further information – in the strictest confidence – about making or updating your will, please contact us via email or phone 1800 138 029.

General Donations

As a supporter your donations help to provide research grants, raise awareness, offer support groups, supply a helpline, present information forums, deliver youth programs and much, much more.  Please donate today and continue to help CCA make life more liveable for the 80,000 Australians living with IBD, and their families. Click here to donate online.
