Our Mission / Objective

Our Beneficiaries

There may only be 480 patients with HAE in Australia & only 90 in New Zealand. Most of these people would never have met others with the condition which leaves them feeling isolated. Also, when requiring medical treatment, they may encounter doctors that aren't familiar with the condition and mistake their symptoms for other medical issues. This could be life threatening for the patients.
Funds donated to our charity will help us to provide education and raise awarness in patients, the medical community & the general community.

Projects in Progress

Current projects include Annual Patient Meetings where patients with HAE & their carers are updated on recent HAE developments and can meet others with the condition from around Australia and New Zealand; local HAE Meet Up's which strengthen the patient's local network; and various awareness activities in the Australian medical community.
