Our Mission / Objective

Established in 1952, INF is Nepal’s longest-serving international non-government organisation. INF helps people affected by leprosy, spinal cord injuries, and disability, facilitates development in some of Nepal’s most remote and poorest communities, runs medical outreach programmes and provides medical training as well as supporting and providing assistance for Nepali migrants travelling to India and beyond in search of employment.

Disaster Response and Resilience

The recent floods have now affected more than 100,000 Nepalis. The death toll has exceeded 130, with many people still missing.

GPH has served people affected by Leprosy [and more recently spinal cord injuries] for nearly 60 years. Now it will become a centre of excellence in rehabilitation.

As part of GPH the Ear Centre performs surgery, provides treatment and care, and gives speech and language therapy to those with hearing difficulties.
