Projects in Progress
There are a number of projects in progress with the Mercy Foundation. Information about these projects can be found on our website or by signing up for our e-newsletter.
Home in a Box is one of the projects currently run by the Mercy Foundation. Home in a Box provides people who move into housing, after spending a significant period of time homeless, with the basics they need to set up a home. Many of these people have few possessions making it difficult and expensive to set up a home. Home in a Box provides the warmth and comfort of sheets, towels, pillows, doonas, kitchenware, utensils and other essential items.
Home in a Box was developed to help people sustain their housing, by creating a home.
