Our Mission / Objective

Neuroblastoma Australia is a charity focused on improving survival rates of children diagnosed with neuroblastoma childhood cancer. Neuroblastoma is the leading cause of death of children under 5 from cancer with the average of diagnosis being just 2 years old. Neuroblastoma is a rare disease and as a result receives relatively little funding for research which means progress has been far slower than it should have been.
Neuroblastoma Australia focuses on raising funds for leading research into this childhood cancer so treatments improve and more children survive. Survival rates currently vary from 10% to 90% depending on the type of neuroblastoma diagnosed. We believe with more research children with even the most aggressive forms of neuroblastoma will survive this devastating disease.

Our Services

Organises fundraising events to raise awareness and funds for neuroblastoma research.
Provides information to affected families about neuroblastoma.

Our Beneficiaries

Funds raised are donated to leading neuroblastoma research projects – current benefactors are Children’s Cancer Institute Australia and Cancer Council NSW.
