Our Mission / Objective

The purpose of QSA is to express in a practical way the concern of Australian Quakers for the building of a more peaceful, just and compassionate world. To this end QSA works with communities in need to improve their quality of life with projects which are culturally sensitive, as well as being economically and environmentally appropriate and sustainable.

Our Services

QSA works with existing community based organisations in several countries to bring about food and water security for the communities, alleviate poverty with training in appropriate skills, and due care for the protection of children, their local environment, and to enable the community to become as self-sustaining as possible.

Our Beneficiaries

Communities within Indigenous Australia, Cambodia, Tamil Nadu in India, and Uganda. Within these communities QSA works with existing community groups to support all members of the community, including the more marginalised members such as child headed households, those with a disability, and minority groups.
