Our Mission / Objective

Schools Ministry Group offers ongoing pastoral and practical support through chaplaincy, Christian education and wellbeing services to school communities in partnership with the combined Christian community and other organisations.

Our Vision – Young people and school communities discovering purpose, value and hope

Projects in Progress

School Chaplaincy Service – to more than 330 Government schools in South Australia.

School Seminars

    • Life Matters – Seminars and interactive workshops where young people can discover their story, carefully think about the choices they make and the impact they can have on their friends, school, community and world.

    • Hope Downloaded – presentation by a band for primary aged students which engages, informs and encourages  them with the truth that they are important and valuable.

    • Sacred Stone – create a space for high school aged students to reflect on their life, think practically about their purpose, what motivates them and the choices they make.  The message is shared creatively through live music, visual media, storytelling and group discussion.

Community Services – through the provision of welfare services  and pastoral care our main aims are to:

    • Enhance the wellbeing of children, young people and families through the minimisation of suffering and distress and the development of life skills.

    • Encourage a hopeful and empowered community of strong, healthy individuals and families who contribute to the growth of their communities.
