Our Mission / Objective
Sir David Martin Foundation is a charity dedicated to helping young people in crisis. We fund programs to support young people suffering from problems such as substance addiction, homelessness, mental illness, disengagement from society, abuse, unemployment and family breakdown. These programs provide treatment and support for these issues, as well as assist young people in returning to education and training to find pathways to employment and a healthy, productive life.
- Our Goal is to fund effective programs that help young people in crisis regain their health, get off the streets and achieve their goals.
- Our Vision is to create an environment where young people can grow up in safety, with hope and opportunity.
Projects in Progress
1. Triple Care Farm in Robertson offers an intensive program for youth who are homeless, drug and alcohol dependencies & mental health issues; providing accommodation, care and counselling. Students are taught work and living skills leading to a higher self-esteem and independence.
2. David Martin Place – a new youth Detox Centre, the first of its kind in Australia, built on the same site as Triple Care Farm, to treat young people in a safe, controlled and age appropriate facility.
The centre is a 10 bed, 28 day residential program incorporating assessment, treatment, counselling and aftercare support to equip the young person with the tools to stay clean. It will combine a medical and therapeutic approach, leading to effective and more positive and sustained outcomes for young people trying to detox.

Can you lend your time to help Sir David Martin Foundation?
We always need help from volunteers to run our fundraising events, such as the Abseil for Youth.
Please note that due to legal requirements surrounding working with children, sometimes it is difficult to arrange volunteering at our youth programs. However, for groups that wish to do a ‘volunteering day’, we may be able to organise a working bee day at Triple Care Farm in Robertson. If you’re an individual and would like to assist us at head office, please get in touch.
