Projects in Progress

Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick is one of Australia’s leading specialist medical centres for children. We provide quality, comprehensive and expert clinical services to the children and families of New South Wales and beyond.

Our priority is children’s health and well-being. To achieve the best results possible, we work as a team, ensuring children receive personalised, high quality treatment within an atmosphere of warmth, caring and assurance for the children, their parents and families.

Every year we admit some 15,000 children and provide over 315,000 occasions of care through our emergency, outpatient and outreach services.

We pride ourselves in providing highly efficient health care whilst maintaining our philosophy, “Children first and foremost”.

Established in 1986, The Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation is a company limited by guarantee, dedicated to working with the community to improve the quality of life for this and future generations of seriously ill children.

The Foundation helps the Hospital to purchase state of the art medical equipment and financially support life saving services, as well as undertake medical and child health research.

How to help us

General Donations

We can’t do it without you.

Each year, the number of children that we care for at the Hospital increases, creating a growing demand to replace or buy the newest equipment, fund medical research, train frontline staff and provide support for families in need.

With the support of our family (businesses and individuals in the community – people like you), we can continue to help to improve the quality of life for our young patients, now and in the future.

The Foundation ensures that every donation specified to a particular medical discipline or service is directed accordingly. If unspecified, donations are directed to the area of greatest need at the Hospital, as determined by the Hospital and approved by the Foundation’s Board, to support patients and their families.

Donations over $2 are tax deductible and a tax receipt will be mailed to you after your donation has been processed. Please give generously.
