This 1-day workshop focuses on how attachment experiences and family dynamics can influence our ‘relational’ development.
It explores and draws together ideas from Attachment Theory, Neurobiology and Bowen’s Family Systems Theory to describe influence on relational patterns in adult relationships.
Learning objectives
•Develop understanding of an individual and the outcome of attachment experiences
•Gain an understanding of an individual’s role in intimate relationships impacted on by attachment experience over time
•Learn to identify and conceptualise around adult relational patterns
•Gain an understanding of the roles within a family of origin using Bowen’s Family Systems Approach
•Develop increased awareness of how an individual is influenced by attachment and family dynamics

•Learn how to use genograms as a tool in therapy and self-reflection
