The conference will present information on the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework
Senior Officers from the Department of Social Services will provide an update on the development of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework. The Framework includes important quality assurance and safeguards mechanisms for both participants and providers under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The presentation will give both NDIS providers and participants an understanding of the features of the Framework.
There will be updates from other reforms including Aged Care, Consumer Directed Care and the National Injury Insurance Scheme and practical information for service providers on managing consumer directed or individualised supports.
