The FRSA National Conference 2016, Measuring Success in the Family and Relationship Sector for the wellbeing of children, families and communities, will be held 29 November – 1 December 2016 at the National Convention Centre in Canberra.
The theme and major focus for #FRSAConf2016 is Measuring Success in the family and relationship sector—for the wellbeing of children, families and communities. This is the first year that the event has secured ACWA accreditation enabling participants to claim CPD points for their attendance.
Measuring success remains a critical issue for service providers and their funders; by measuring success we can better identify what works and what does not work in delivering services, toward improving the wellbeing of clients across the life course. FRSA Conference 2016 will provide an opportunity for us to critically consider challenges and best practice in measuring success.
The Conference will include a variety of international and local keynote speakers and workshop leaders addressing a range of topics and issues in an exciting mix of plenaries, debates and interactive sessions, to support and encourage important discussions and conversations by offering new insights and knowledge.
The newly appointed Assistant Minister for Social Services, the Hon. Zed Seselja will be delivering a keynote address to kick off the Conference on Tuesday morning. This will be the first opportunity for many to ‘meet’ the new Minister! Followed on by an array of speakers/presenters from the sector, covering five family life points including; The first 1000 days, Key transition points in the schooling years, Partnering and cohabitation, Relationship breakdown and re-partnering and Ageing.
An interactive program is now available on the conference website, which includes speaker profiles and session details. More information on the FRSA Conference website.
