The 2021 Shared Value Summit Asia Pacific is the region’s pre-eminent purpose-led business event, and will explore the theme: The Future We Choose.
In partnership with major sponsor AIA Australia, and supporting sponsors IAG, NAB and PwC Australia, this year’s Summit is arguably our most important yet; as the link between social and economic prosperity deepens, and the need for shared value solutions becomes imperative.
A hybrid event – broadcast online via Cvent, and delivered in-studio at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC)* – the Summit will focus on how to harness this historical moment in time, as we mark the 10th anniversary of the global shared value movement.
*Please note that should COVID restrictions continue in Melbourne, the Summit will flex to an entirely virtual format, with any in-person tickets being transferred to Premium Virtual Passes (and the difference refunded) if need be.
The Future We Choose
2020 has shown us that people and business are capable of great change. We’ve realised we’re not locked into age-old systems, norms and mindsets. And, as a result, we have more freedom and agency to determine the future than ever before. But what we do with this is up to us.
We can shift towards acknowledging the interdependency between social and economic prosperity – and prioritise holistic and inclusive outcomes. We can pool the resources and expertise of business, government, investors and community organisations to take sustainable action. And we can empower private sector leadership to innovate commercial solutions to the world’s biggest challenges, by creating shared value.
This future is ours to create, we just need to choose it.

Summit program & delivery
The Summit will be delivered both in-person and online (a hybrid). This year, we’re excited to offer access to an event app for all participants, to facilitate online networking and content-sharing. We look forward to sharing more on this soon.
The program will be delivered as a plenary, with optional theme-based tracks in the afternoon. These will cover topical issues such as disaster resilience and loneliness.
About the Summit
The Shared Value Summit Asia Pacific convenes some of the most prominent voices in business, government, social impact and academia around the idea that social and economic success is interlinked; and reaches greater heights when achieved together.
Whilst showcasing shared value progress, the Summit also sets an important agenda for stakeholder capitalism moving forward; drawing an international audience of more than 500 delegates. It will include a mixture of keynotes, fireside chats, panel sessions and interactive sessions.
