Join this 60-minute panel as we discuss the best way to navigate the recommendations to create a healthcare system for the future.
This session is FREE thanks to our friends at Community Business Bureau.

Royal commission recommendations – transformational solutions or a hindrance for the healthcare ecosystem?

The Aged Care Royal Commission has recommended an increased focus on the person, much like the person-centred choice and control model of the NDIS.

But what does the move to a person-focused approach across these two sectors mean for Australia’s healthcare system in general and what should our future healthcare system look like? What does this mean for care providers and their workers?

Our panel will offer their thoughts on what they foresee as the key opportunities and issues around these recommendations and will discuss ideas on how community organisations can prepare for the changes.

What this panel discussion will cover

  • What our healthcare system could look like in the future considering the regulatory environment that may arise from the recommendations of reviews such as the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.
  • How to take a strategic and proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, keeping your organisation ahead of the competition.
  • Practical ideas for effectively planning and implementing transformational change within your organisation, maximising compliance and viability.
  • Taking a proactive approach to managing, developing, and educating your staff, setting them up to adapt and thrive as both regulatory and organisational change occurs.
