Royal commission recommendations – transformational solutions or a hindrance for the healthcare ecosystem?
The Aged Care Royal Commission has recommended an increased focus on the person, much like the person-centred choice and control model of the NDIS.
But what does the move to a person-focused approach across these two sectors mean for Australia’s healthcare system in general and what should our future healthcare system look like? What does this mean for care providers and their workers?

Michael has extensive executive leadership, financial management, governance, and risk management experience in the not for profit, disability, and aged care sectors. His resume includes roles such as director of business commercialisation, disability reform at the Department of Human Services; as well as group chief financial officer for a large aged care and retirement organisation.
