Strategies for Success in the Not-For-Profit (NFP) sector

Details

NFPs are facing shifting demographics, rising costs of service delivery and increased competition. To continue driving impact at scale NFPs need to consider ‘partnering as a capability’ and look for new and creative ways to increase scale economies.

Through our global social impact activities we have observed that strategies for success can include the following:

  1. Create a strong brand to increase visibility for both funding and talent attraction
  2. Embed a ‘fit for purpose’ operating model and drive economies of scale
  3. Partner for success and collaborate with the private and public sectors to access skilled people and deliver shared community outcomes

A.T. Kearney’s global social impact practice is multi-focussed, across economic development, sustainability and education and has been driving the NFP agenda across the globe. With experience working with aid funds, development banks and not-for-profits in a range of areas, we are passionate about creating and scaling innovative solutions to social challenges. We have partnered globally with Ashoka, the world’s large community of change leaders and social entrepreneurs, committed to achieving community impact via multi-sector collaboration.

Join us and Ashoka for a breakfast seminar to hear our approach to delivering impact at scale in the not-for-profit sector.
