The Upper Yarra Community House (UYCH) provides lifelong learning, care, and support services for all age groups and interests. We are a busy and strong organisation that continues to grow. We support people who want to really live life, whether that’s learning, play or school.

Our services include:

UYCH Community College – nationally recognised accreditied qualifications and short courses;

UYCH Community Living – In Home Care and respite support services;

UYCH Family and Children’s Services – early childhood education and care programs, out of school hours care and vacation care and playgroup;

Yarra Valley Community School (YVCS) – education and services for youth to achieve their secondary educational goals.

Seeking experience in:

Community engagement

Business development

Education

Governance

Social enterprise.

The committee of management meets monthly. Members are expected to prepare for meetings, attend meetings and follow through with agreed work, contribute time, and attend events.

Membership is voluntary and positions are held for 2 years. Meetings are held in either Yarra Junction or Mt Evelyn.
