The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research is looking for two experienced fundraising professionals to join our award-winning team.  You will be raising funds for Australia’s oldest medical research institute at one of the most exciting times in its long and distinguished history.

Due to the growth of our fundraising, we have two opportunities.

• Donor Development Manager: You will need a track record in direct, digital and community fundraising (see attached Position Description).
• Future Giving Manager: You will have exceptional relationship management skills and experience in developing engaging bequest programs (see attached Position Description).

The successful candidates will possess:

• Prior experience in donor development or planned giving
• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate sensitively and respectfully with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong results orientation and ability to make things happen
• Ability to invest in building and maintaining relationships, both within the organisation and with the institute’s supporters
• Strong commitment to the values and behaviours of the institute

You will be driven by the vital work that the institute is doing to benefit human health in the areas of cancer, infectious diseases and immune disorders.

Membership of the Fundraising Institute of Australia is preferred and completion of FIA Certificate of Fundraising or CFRE is desirable.

This position is initially a 2-year appointment. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.Attractive salary packaging options are available.
