About the role

We are seeking a mid-level fundraising and marketing professional for a full-time or part time position (min. 4 days per week) to support the organisation through an important transition and into the next phase of strategic fundraising in an emerging, market driven environment.

The Role
You will provide support to the head of department and work autonomously to achieve agreed outcomes. Your primary role will be to:
* research, apply for and administer grants;
* coordinate and administer supporter engagement opportunities;
* undertake small campaigns and manage and participate in fundraising events;
* administer and manage donations, reports and maintain the CRM;
* prepare, produce and distribute marketing materials (brochures, newsletters, annual reports etc), including copywriting, sourcing of content, desktop publishing and dealing with suppliers and vendors;
* content manage digital media, and
* liaise with internal and external customers.

We are seeking a candidate with:
* some previous experience in similar fundraising and marketing areas;
* strong written expression, high attention to detail and exceptional customer care skills;
* outstanding organisational skills and ability to work in a high-stress environment with competing priorities;
* previous report writing and basic budgeting skills;
* proven ability to work on multiple projects, prioritise and meet varying deadlines;
* willingness and aptitude to engage with people with intellectual disabilities;
* advanced IT proficiency and propensity to acquire new IT skills fast (MS Office, Adobe Design Suite; CRMs)
