About the role
Women’s Health Victoria (WHV) runs the BreaCan service that is a statewide gynaecological and breast cancer support and information service. The service aims to empower women to make informed choices about their care and treatment, to support them to live well.
The role:
This new part time position will develop and support the expansion of digital technologies within a small and dedicated team. You will be enthusiastic and experienced in the development and use of digital marketing to enhance service reach and engage with health professionals and the women who use BreaCan. You will also be familiar with working in the not for profit sector and be committed to enhancing service delivery and access to information and support for women with a gynaecological or breast cancer, across Victoria.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce / Business / Marketing or related field.
Key Selection Criteria:
• Familiarity with health/cancer sector
• Proven working experience in digital marketing
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Experience in optimising landing pages
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
• Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
• Working knowledge of WordPress
• Commitment to a feminist framework and an understanding of the social model of health as it relates to the diverse needs of women.
• Experience in consumer-focussed service development and delivery, with a proven ability to connect with women from diverse communities.
This position is part-time working 5 days per fortnight for 12 months. For further information, please refer to the position description provided.
