Director of Advancement, Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences

The Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences offers an extensive range of flexible undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs along with state-of-the-art learning facilities, providing its students with a world-class education.  Research is focused on areas critical to healthcare for the future – from disease prevention and ageing to environmental health and cognitive science. 

The Faculty is now looking forward to an experienced Director of Advancement joining their team, working closely with the Executive Dean and Faculty Executive to create and implement a robust advancement program.  Focus will be on securing major gifts and fostering industry engagement to increase sponsorship and contract research.  Also pivotal will be the development of alumni and constituent relations to include opportunities for student clinical experience placements.

Key to your success will be your proven ability to identify, cultivate and solicit major gift prospects, combined with an understanding of the principles of alumni and community engagement.  You will be a highly motivated and self-driven individual with experience working in a higher education setting.  Candidates with comparable experience working in similarly complex environments such as health or other not-for profits, will also be considered.
