Edmund Rice Camps Incorporated is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader and motivated person to lead the organisation. Edmund Rice Camps is a not-for-profit organisation with a 35 year history of running volunteer-led recreational camps in Victoria for children, youth and families impacted by social and/or financial disadvantage. We provide social learning opportunities, helping both participants and volunteers develop life skills, compassion, imagination, and a sense of self-worth and social connectedness. Reporting to the Board of Management, you will lead the Edmund Rice Camps team to ensure the successful operational management of services and programs. Your ability to provide leadership and support to the team and your experience in strategic planning, executive leadership and fundraising will enable you to succeed in this role. Key Selection Criteria:
- Relevant experience in program development, human and financial resource management, risk management and operating within legislative/statutory frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, and a proven capacity to translate plans into action to deliver appropriate outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience of fundraising to a range of audiences.
- Demonstrated experience of managing staff and volunteers to deliver organisational objectives.
- Experience in the community/health/human services sector is preferred but not essential.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the discipline of social science, community development or human services or other relevant fields, will be highly regarded.
