The Continence Foundation of Australia is a well-regarded national peak body focussing on advocating and providing health promotion and information to key target groups within the community. An essential component of our work is an innovative national Health Promotion Officer (HPO) Program delivering grass-roots community education via a team of HPOs located across five states. Our health promotion work is supported by a substantial suite of information resources for consumers and health professionals.
The organisation is seeking to appoint an exceptional Health Promotion professional who possesses leadership skills to coordinate the team of Health Promotion Officers. In addition you will monitor and maintain a broad suite of health promotion resources, ensuring consumer and health professional information needs are met.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years health promotion experience ideally gained from the primary, acute or community health care sectors. You will work within, and foster a culture of best practice and collaboration, supporting the health promotion team and ensuring integration across the organisation’s other activities.
Experience in managing state, territory or federal government projects will be highly desirable, as will experience in coordinating or managing remote teams. Excellent evaluation, analysis and report writing skills are essential as is a valid driver’s license and well developed computer skills. Ability to travel interstate will be required.
