About the role

Position Purpose

As SVA seeks to grow its business and influence, this role acknowledges the importance SVA places on building a team of talented professionals to ensure our teams can increase and share the impact of our work with funders, clients, investors and the broader community.
This role would suit an IT administrator with business analysis qualifications or similar, with experience working in a professional services environment.

Position Responsibilities

The key requirements of this position are to work with and support internal IT stakeholders, and manage external providers of SVA’s cloud and related services. The IT Coordinator will support IT procurement and expense management in consultation with the CFO and leadership team.
Specific responsibilities to fulfill these role requirements include:
• Coordinate SVA’s IT architecture in all its formats such as:
• Administration of Salesforce, prioritising maintenance, training and development requests and general licence support administration
• Provide business analyst support in reporting and data integration tasks
• Administration of external service providing cloud computing infrastructure (MS Windows 10, MS Azure, MS Office / E365 and email exchange, SharePoint)
• Support various IT systems across the business i.e. XERO, Kimble, Ascender / Talent2 / ESS, CommsChoice DNA, PABX Syd and Virtual PABX Melbourne and Sydney building access systems
• Project support for any additional IT systems on the SVA IT Roadmap
• Manage IT upgrades for hardware and software (where required), with consideration for minimum business disruption, business continuity and disaster recovery
• Coordinate staff movements including IT access across various systems, maintaining SVA email and distribution lists, and on-boarding and off-boarding security access requirements
• Ongoing training of new and existing staff to fully utilise the IT systems available to them
• Creation and management of IT end user documentation
• Where relevant, develop or contribute to SVA IT policies and procedures
• Support business operations by developing and extracting reports from various systems
• Facilitate effective working sessions and meetings with key stakeholders to identify and capture business requirements when necessary
• Identify opportunities for improving business information to support operations and decision making processes
• Engage with new and emerging technologies in order to advise and facilitate secure, efficient and cost effective IT and communications technology within the SVA group.

Position Requirements

• Strong evidence of IT knowledge and adaptability
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an IT administrator or similar
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to prioritise
• Knowledge of NFP sector would be advantageous
• Experience working with some or all of systems outlined above
• Ability to clearly and persuasively present knowledge and ideas verbally and in written formats
• Ability to work in a team and develop profile as a knowledgeable, approachable IT specialist
• Experience working as business analyst advantageous
