Multicultural Aged Care Inc. (MAC) is a non- government, not-for-profit, secular community-based organisation that specialises in providing person-centred, consumer directed home care services to frail-aged people and their carers from CALD backgrounds.
Reporting to the CEO, you will play the lead role in managing the delivery and development of client services, ensures services operate to budget, implements appropriate policies and procedures to meet the organisation’s objectives, and ensures required standards and legislative & compliance obligations are met. Additionally you will attract, develop and retain a high quality workforce
THE POSITION
The position will:
• Provide leadership to care coordination team
• Set and implement service standards
• Maintain a strong focus on client outcomes
• Manage compliance
Skills, Experience and Competencies
Essential
• A broad range of experience at management level preferably within the Community Care sector.
• Demonstrated experience in care coordination and facilitation
• A sound understanding and experience in service review and development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a wide range of IT applications.
• Highly developed communication, negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and customers.
• Demonstrated commitment to a customer focused culture and ensuring quality outcomes for clients.
• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous quality improvement.
• Experience in working within budget & service delivery parameters
• A good understanding and experience in relation to contemporary issues, legislation and standards impacting on Home Care.
• Demonstrated experience in Managing a diverse team.
• Ability to motivate, develop and provide feedback to staff/ teams.
• Ability to think and act at a strategic level and execute the change.
• Current driver license and car
Desirable
• Relevant post-graduate qualifications or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in aged care and/or disability and/or home care industry
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Demonstrated experience in working with people with dementia
