Good Shepherd provides community-based programs that support women and girls build their safety and resilience, increase access to education opportunities and improve financial security.
The Role
Due to Good Shepherd’s work over the last 200 years they have an engaged base of loyal supporters. An opportunity has arisen for a Bequest Coordinator to implement a National program which will further develop relationships with their supporters encouraging them to leave a bequest.
Specifically you will:
- Implement strategies to develop and strengthen relationships with supporters and donors
- Inform supporters of the history, programs and impact of Good Shepherd
- Educate supporters on the bequest process, coordinating administration
- Steward and thank donors during phone calls, face to face visits and events
- Identify opportunities to grow the bequest program researching new prospects
- Develop targeted communications to supporters and donors
Skills Required
This role is suited to a mature fundraiser with direct experience managing a bequest program. You will be organised and strategic with excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to engage others and build meaningful relationships. You will be available on either a full or part-time basis.
