Chief Executive Officer

PRONIA (formerly known as Australian Greek Welfare Society) is a major ethno-specific community services agency that services the needs of the Australian Greek community predominantly in Melbourne and Victoria. It provides a combination of direct services, community education, training and advocacy.

Reporting to a Board of Governance, the Chief Executive Officer will lead PRONIA to deliver the vision and strategic direction of PRONIA as it continues to meet the ever changing and challenging needs of the Australian Greek Community. The CEO will be responsible for the day to day operations of the organization leading a team of dedicated and skilled management, staff and volunteers. The CEO will also be required to apply sound business principles to enable the organization to navigate the complex and challenging funding and fee for service issues.

This role presents an opportunity for an experienced strategic leader who has strong skills in people management, financial astuteness, advocacy and media skills to lead the organization.
