This emerging social enterprise and non-profit progressive organisation has grown to become the lead market player to lead from the front for social enterprises in Australia. Having a passionate global game changer Founder with a high profile, they now seek to hire a CEO to drive the strategic agenda and lead the organisation.

The CEO will work closely with the Founder directly and liaise with the Advisory Board.  As a CEO or senior executive with a track record of growth at the helm, your role will be pivotal in setting the strategic vision and driving execution, providing collaborative and entrepreneurial leadership. Specifically, your role will include the following:

• Setting the future vision, formulating the strategic plan and leading the small and progressive team to implement the strategy – oversee program delivery and effective controls.
• Identifying new business opportunities; providing commercial gravitas and business development leadership to initiate strategic alliances and originate new business partnerships
• Financial stewardship, accountability for P&L and cashflow forecasting
• Stakeholder relations – media, Government, industry associations, banking partners and third party liaison with lawyers and accountants

As an experienced CEO or Commercial Manager, you will have taken a company, potentially from start-up through a significant high growth phase and be well versed in how to lead through ambiguity and change.  Culturally young and dynamic, you will be able to demonstrate a culture fit to work with young, smart, savvy tech and socially minded entrepreneurs. Ideally, you will have financial modelling skills to manage ROI of different business opportunities, and above all else, you will be a visionary business leader with integrity who is decisive and willing to challenge the status quo. You will be strong in character to negotiate and lead from the front while creating a collaborative and empowering environment likely to be hiring fresh talent here forward.
