Director – Business Growth

A fantastic opportunity exists at Northside Community Forum Ltd (Northside) to lead Northside’s growth strategy.

About Northside
Northside is an independent, not for profit connecting locals to services for almost 30 years.

Northside is undertaking an exciting transformation which seeks to change the way people with disability, carers and older people link to and engage with service providers. With the advent of the NDIS, planned changes in Aged Care and an emerging Carers’ strategy, Northside has developed an approach which best aligns with connecting carers and the people they care for, with affordable and accessible services.

Purpose of the Director – Business Growth
The Director – Business Growth will lead Northside’s growth strategy through improving our market position, strengthening the funding base and developing new and existing services to underpin our strategic direction and create a sustainable future.

Knowledge, Skills, and Capabilities
•Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Social Sciences or a related field; or other tertiary qualification with significant relevant experience at a senior level.
•Achieved success in identifying multiple funding streams that have grown sustainable business opportunities.
•Demonstrated experience in delivering strategic growth plans.
•Demonstrated success leading commercial negotiations.
•Demonstrated achievement in meeting business growth strategies.
•Knowledge of government departments, organisations and service providers across the community services sector.
•Understanding of the opportunities and challenges of the community services sector, including the reforms agenda.
•Previous experience and knowledge of disability, aged care and mental health would be advantageous.
•Current Drivers Licence.
