About the Position
Our Aged Care Reform Project is an organisation-wide activity aimed at strategic positioning and readiness for increased consumer involvement and direction in care planning and supports for clients living in the community.
We are looking for an experienced, proactive Project Manager to implement this reform. This is a 12 month contract, due to commence ASAP, with full time hours.
This role’s overall purpose is to lead and oversee a range of project activities including the development and implementation of innovative service delivery models in our aged care community programs aligned to a person and relationship-centred care philosophy.
You will also be required to work with various internal and external stakeholders to identify needs, gaps and opportunities and ensure new services deliver identified benefits.
About You
Offering an extensive background in Project Management within the non-profit, Aged Care or Community sectors, you will be confident with the following capabilities:
• High level of knowledge around government-funded community aged care services including legislation, reform agendas and quality frameworks
• Development of new services and demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate
• Strong budget management and robust understanding of project requirements including time and cost management
• Confident in the use of Microsoft Project (or similar) to ensure reporting and documentation is accurate and timely
• Exceptional communication skills and confident relating to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to provide leadership and guidance to a team but also promote self-management and use of initiative
• Building a positive working environment with a focus on collaborative team processes and successful results
• Strongly developed problem solving, time management, negotiation and organisational skills will be essential
Along with your “can-do” approach and dynamic, enthusiastic attitude, you also have the following:
• A tertiary qualification in Business Management, Community or Health Services
• A career history relevant to the role requirements
• A current National Police Certificate
• Current Qld Drivers licence, your own reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel to designated service areas as required. This may include some inter-state travel.
